BOOK INTRO

Like you, and millions of other American’s, I’ve been forced to stay home leaving me jobless, hungry and oftentimes bored. There are only so many hours in the day I can watch TV, scroll through my social media feeds or connect with friends who are in the same boat. Can you relate? In an effort to minimize your trips to the grocery store, while still being able to have delicious tasting meals at home, I compiled this user-friendly recipe guide. Most of the recipes have been created using staple items to have on hand that also have a long shelf life. Of course if you can source fresh food that is always best, but in the case of minimizing your grocery trips, my goal is for you to use resourceful ingredients. And even though this book was created during Quarantine, it doesn’t mean you can’t cook these delicious recipes when we are back to our normal lives! Less trips to the grocery store overall puts more time back in your week.

She owns Via’s Kitchen, a personal chef and catering company that focuses on clean, allergen friendly food. Her services include event catering, dinner parties, cooking classes, live demos and recipe development.
